Get Help

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your country’s emergency number (NZ, 111) and ask for the Police.

Gender-based violence is unacceptable. Reporting violence is a frightening thing, but there are organisations dedicated to helping you. You do not need to suffer in silence. You deserve to be safe. We have collated the details of organisations which will give you advice, support, and offer services to help protect you.

These services can equally be used to get advice if you are concerned about the safety of a friend or a relative. We have also included resources for people who are concerned they may be about to harm someone, and are seeking support to change their behaviour.
